One sheet of fabric on a tube. The simplest mechanism there is, which is why it is usually the least expensive and the least likely to go wrong.
The real choice is the fabric: a light one filters daylight, a blackout one stops it, and a PVC-faced one wipes clean over a kitchen sink.

Colours here are indicative only — a screen can't show weave, weight or how light comes through a fabric. We bring real samples to the consultation so you can hold them up in your own room, which is the only way to choose properly.
