Plasterboard and dot-and-dab
Most of the newer houses and a lot of the Bradford terraces that were dry-lined. Needs fixings that spread the load or reach the stud behind, not the plugs in the bracket box.
Brick and blockwork
Solid walls take a standard plug and screw. We check the wall before drilling; a chimney breast is usually fine, a lintel above a window is not.
What we need from you
A photo of the wall, the TV size or the bracket box, and roughly where you want it. Cables can be tidied in trunking; running them inside the wall is an electrician's job.

- Levelled and checked before we leave
- Cables tidied behind a TV where the wall allows it

- Electrical work, including new sockets
- Chasing cables into the wall
- Anything above a two-storey drop from a ladder
