Flat-pack assembly in Huddersfield
Flat-pack furniture assembled in your home across Huddersfield, HD1 to HD5, HD7 and HD8, from the town centre out to Lindley, Almondbury and the Colne Valley villages. About 13 miles from us in Bradford, with no travel charge. Send a photo of the box and we ring back the same day with a fixed price.
Three-storey weavers' cottages
In Golcar, Slaithwaite, Linthwaite and Milnsbridge the old weavers' cottages are three storeys, and the top floor, once the loomshop, is often now the main bedroom. A wardrobe or bed for that room goes up two flights flat-packed and is built where it will stand.
Front doors straight onto the road
Those cottages front directly onto the street with no garden or drive, so unloading happens at the kerb. Tell us if the road is narrow or steep and we plan the drop-off before we set out.
Student rooms around the university
The University of Huddersfield keeps a steady turnover of furnished rooms in Marsh, Lockwood and Birkby. Several identical desks, beds and wardrobes in one house is one visit and one price, and the invoice can go to the landlord.
Where the boxes come from
IKEA Leeds at Birstall is off the M62 between Huddersfield and Leeds, so a lot of what we build here is IKEA. Send the product page before you buy and we will price the build.

Questions from Huddersfield
Can you build in a top-floor room of a weavers' cottage?
Yes. The panels go up the stairs flat and the furniture is assembled in the room. What cannot be done is carrying a built wardrobe up two flights of a narrow cottage staircase, which is why we never build it downstairs first.
Do you cover the Colne Valley villages?
Yes: Golcar, Slaithwaite, Linthwaite, Milnsbridge and Marsden are all inside HD3 and HD7, at the same price as the town centre.
Do you do student houses?
Yes. Send the list of items and the address and it is priced as one visit, however many rooms.
Blinds as well? Blinds measured and fitted in Huddersfield, on the same visit if you like. Other towns: everywhere we cover. Letting several properties? Assembly for landlords.
