Flat-pack assembly in Halifax

Flat-pack furniture assembled in your home across Halifax, HX1 to HX4: Savile Park, King Cross, Ovenden, Northowram, Hipperholme and the villages out to Greetland and Stainland. About 9 miles from us in Bradford, with no travel charge. Send a photo of the box and we ring back the same day with a fixed price.

• Two very different houses

Halifax has the large Savile Park villas in their own grounds and, two streets away, two-up two-down stone back-to-backs. A villa usually means high ceilings and room to build; a back-to-back means a tight staircase and a small bedroom, so we ask which you have before we come.

• High ceilings, tall wardrobes

In the Victorian houses with tall sash windows the ceilings are high, which suits a tall PAX or a fitted-look wardrobe. We check the ceiling height and the window position before building, so a tall unit does not end up across a sash.

• Hills and parking

Many Halifax streets are steep, and terraced roads mean on-street parking. Tell us if the street is a steep one or permit-only and we plan where to unload.

• Where the boxes come from

IKEA Leeds at Birstall is off the M62, the same motorway Halifax sits beside, so a lot of what we build here is IKEA. Send us the product page before you buy and we will price it.
